Quality Education creates Quality Citizens
The fruits of quality education for all is evident world wide, and including faith-based education is where I believe the foundation of a nation lies, as it includes love and respect for one another. As it teaches all the kids the value of social responsibility for fellow humans in this life and beyond.
The knowledge of scientific formulas is incredible but learning the formula of how to love and respect yourself your fellow human being and your God, gives life true meaning.
In developing countries all over the world the lack of quality education has kept civilizations down and the divide between rich and poor is increasing instead of decreasing. Population growth is another problem as the economies are burdened with the many mouths that rely on social grants and support. If only our governments could have the vision that the largest investment they can make for the future of the countries is in quality faith-based education.
Firstly, by ensuring that teachers are well trained and motivated to be “the passionate educators for the greatest resource of their nations” and secondly to “ensure that schools are equipped with quality resources”. By following this approach the responsibility to give each child access to quality education (no matter it’s economic or cultural background, gender or ability) will be taken serious and will give the child the springboard to quality and success for their later life and will be an investment for the future of the nation and the world.
Private schools are known to be excellent but government schools can be excellent too. Teachers, parents and children should have their voices heard as excellent education will contribute positively towards the economic growth and prosperity of the countries involved.
The traditional teacher-centered learning approach has its place but we need to prepare our kids to be responsible critical and self-driven thinkers who can take care of their own lives and who will contribute to the well-being of others.
Politicians are chosen to listen to our voices and not to fill their pockets and to go on expensive holidays. They are supposed to find solutions for the well-being of their countrymen from an objective perspective and not be driven by emotional up-sweepings and irrational demands. If an economy is battling they need to build on the successes and not break what is working too. Economic growth relies on insightful decisions that are based on objective research and reasoning. They have access to the taxes of the people to benefit the people and their own pockets.
Taxes are a powerful tool. The richer the person the more he/she can contribute to the government budget of which at least 79 percent should be applied to schooling and education.
Closing or breaking down good schools is negative but learning from their successes and partnering with them getting bed them strength and knowledge.
This approach is also valuable in other fields of expertise. Partners are holding hands and care for each other. Positive results can be quicker than one may think as a positive polite society can instill pride and prosperity in every day tasks.
So politicians and teachers and parents and children let’s plan and implement the golden rule of do unto others what you want to be done unto you and the future will unfold golden opportunities for us personally but also for the future of the country and it’s people.
