Faith not fear

One may wonder why the fear of the unknown especially life after death, makes us humans so fearful. There are various ways to deal with this unknown. In the USA it’s Halloween, celebrated with decorations of sceletons and spider webs all over. Dressing kids up and trick-a-treating.

‘Zombie humor’ can be another way to deal with it. .. “Zombies, everywhere, raise this spectre, over and over. Their insatiable hunger, their endless searching, even their constant decay – a parallel of our ageing selves – beckons to the world that eternally awaits, holding up a mirror at which we cannot help but flinch and say: ‘There but for the grace of a non-existent god go we.” (A citation from an article by anon).

Another way to deal with the unknown is to trust in God. He has a masterplan for each person and loves each one. Fear can be replaced by Faith and changes people’s lives by trusting rather than worrying; a huge change of mind and of heart. The unknown will be just like the known -a moment in time.

No fear or worry is needed, as our God walks with us every step of the way and our Savior carries us through tough times, because He is our living, loving God.  A blanket of fear will fall from the shoulders of people and will be replaced by a beautiful gown of faith and a crown of love and splendor. Keep faith and hope as it hushes away the fear factor. Keep smiling and do not fear because the Lord your helper is always near.
