Is God dead?

This is the title of a book I found while spring cleaning my house this week. At first I was disgusted to find such a book in MY house, since my faith in God being alive and well is based on real life experience and asking this question is a form of blasphemy to me. But then I started thinking about the person behind this question and about the many atheist in this secularists world and realized that it’s a real question to them and instead of trying to proof that God is dead I think a counter book with the same question could be another best seller and change the thinking of many unbelievers.

If one speaks to unbelievers and asks them about their experience with God it is often a short abrupt conversation. But one person said it very clearly with the words: I cannot imagine a life with a God. I cannot believe that he is actually in control of my life. I remember saying that I cannot imagine a life without God as He is my constant support and friend.

There are certain things about the perception of who God is that many religions try to explain. Because I believe in the Bible and because I know the healing power of the Holy Spirit I have a perspective based on own experience.

Academics have a hard time to believe in the existence of a creator and believe in the Darwinian theory of evolution but can evolution explain the communication with a higher being which all souls hunger for?

Who do they turn to when the aeroplane is hitting turbulence or when someone breaks into their home?

Who do they pray to when their loved family is hit by Covid 19. Is this all a dream that God loved us and that Jesus died to overcome evil?

What happens when one of their own people die? Do they believe that the person is dead dead (like God) and just disappear into thin air or miraculously change into an angel?

These are all questions to answer by someone who denies the existence of God has to think about it.

My answer to the questions are:
God exists without a doubt in my mind. I believe that he guides and keeps us in the palm of His hand. He loves us and accepts everyone into His big family.

He loved us so much that he sacrificed his son in our place.

I believe our birth on this earth is a journey to be shaped and molded so we can fit into the life after physical death. We are becoming fit for the time in heaven where we will trust Him completely.  This is our prep school and God is not dead. He is busy.

May the person reading this be fortunate enough to be touched by the light of understanding and believe in the God who created him or her. You are indeed loved by a God who is alive.
