We are all the same

To live in a globalized world has so many advantages if one looks at people with open eyes and and an open heart.  In fact, people all over the world are the same if they are treated with kindness and respect. 

It takes time to make new friends and to adjust to the weather if one moves from one city to another or from one country to another.  However, the bonus is to be able understand more about how similar people all over the world are. Everyone needs to be cared for and be loved. Everyone has some good and some bad character traits. Everyone has preferences when it comes to food, or colours, or cars, or toothpaste. Basic lifestyle preferences. Everyone needs sleep and needs fun and relaxation to regenerate. Everyone loves to laugh and has a longing to be accepted. 

We may not speak the same language or have the same cultural and religious traditions, but that does not mean that one culture or language is more important than another. We may be people with different backgrounds  but our basic construction is the same. 

Why can’t politicians focus on the similarities and improve respect for each other rather than hammer on what makes us different or superior of another group? Why don’t they focus on building peace and excellence? 

Let’s take each other’s hands and walk into the future with love, care and respect for each other. The rest will follow.
