A time of Hardship and time of Grace

A time of hardship - a time of grace. Dualism in the real world. The COVID 19 infection numbers are rising rapidly all over the world. People get sick and recover but some people actually die. Lockdown has been lightened but we cannot take this situation lightly.

Many people that are ‘stuck alone’ in retirement centers or in their homes are also suffering as loneliness kicks in and missing their kids and family is terribly hard and heart breaking. Travel is banned and airports are not allowed to open until a not disclosed time. The wonder of this time however, is that we are all loved. The governments are trying their best to take care of their citizens. Not all get the same treatment but they are trying to assist as far as possible.

It’s a crazy time but the blessing of this time-out is evident in so many ways. It’s a time to spring clean and take stock. It’s a time to finish projects that you started and never had time to complete. It’s quiet time to make peace with everyone that hurt you along the way. And last but not least it’s a time where we have time to move closer to our Heavenly Father who walks with us every step of the way. Families spent more time together. Marriages are re-inspired and appreciation for your job is increasing.

One cannot believe that there can be so many blessings within such hardship, but that is how God works. He loves us so much that he shapes our characters so we can become the diamonds of his kingdom. Let’s pray for the sick to recover. Let’s pray for the healthy to stay safe and let’s pray that all move closer to Jesus and thank Him for His care and love. Be blessed and be joyful in the Lord.
