Human kindness
I don’t want to preach or to convert anyone π, but today I am going to write about a question that has been nagging me for many years. The question about humanity.
Cultures differ, languages differ, even dialects differ, but we all carry the same original DNA. We are all humans. There is even a word called ‘humankind’. I know it’s refers to our species but there is ‘kind’ in the word that needs attention. And I often wonder why can’t we be kinder instead of being prejudice towards one another? Why is the power button still pressed and why are we trying to control each other somehow? Why can’t we live with respect for each other’s lives and each other’s opinion?
We try to conform people to become something we cannot even be. I asked the question:” what would you do to change the world” and I agree with all the answers. It’s hard to change but if all people would have a skill by training and education and could live a social-economic life that could be safe and secure, have a faith to carry them through thick and thin and a mission to be kind, this world would be a different place. Why are we still living in a world in this 21st century where there is such poverty that people cannot afford to live in a warm house. That they have to queue for soup kitchens. That they have to leave their families and countries to find jobs elsewhere. That they have to endure wars and murders and are abused because of culture, religion and unemployment?
Even inside their own culture and religion, some people are not supported. It’s as if humanity is power crazy. For what? To be seen or heard? To be little Demi Gods? To show that they know it all? No one is not guilty of some or other pride. Whether it’s being better educated than others or earning more money than others or living in a better shack than others. We all die and then what? Can we take anything with us of all of this? The only thing we can take is our soul. The one thing no-one cares about in this world. The human soul. The being. The I am. We are not allowed to speak about life after death it’s not mentioned in the media. It’s not mentioned in parlaments. We may not pray to ask for wisdom in our schools. The idea of believing in a God and life after death is not acceptable because of the so-called humanitarian philosophy where no one may push their religion, but why are these policy-makers not looking after the real issues.
Global concerns are not addressed. Poverty ranking the highest and not offering quality education for all. I believe that what we do here is directly connected with what we experience in the life beyond. I guess sin is the answer. Instead of being caring people we are selfish human beings. The act that turned us away from God in the first place. Human kindness became human rudeness.
We no longer care about our family and community it’s all about us only. Little Gods who think their culture is the only one. Who let their governments treat people like dirt instead as respected important citizens. We are in this world to make it a better place but where do we start? In our own circle. Our own family and our own community. I wish the newspapers would carry headlines that would make us smile and not to make us depressed. Accidents happen and health can change in minutes and people die, but our general everyday life should be filled with kindness and care.
Aiming at the best quality of education for all. Celebrating 100 percent employment rates and living in a harmonious environment where every person around us is cared for. Whether young or old. No matter what cultural background they are from. The next question would be how to take this approach to the next level so everyone would be able to live this way. It’s complicated. But let’s try one step at a time in our own community. It would be awesome if our towns would become examples of human-kindness.
