“Fear not, I am with you”, says the Lord.

So many concerns are flooding social media. Many questions are unanswered. Many people are worried and fearful about the future. It is a trying time for the physical and the psychological needs of human beings. However, nature seems to be regenerating. Skies and oceans are cleaner and I believe many homes have become cleaner too. 😊 Families have been ‘thrown’ together for unusually long periods of time and life has changed to a new rhythm. Somehow it feels like moving 30 years backwards, except that technology has become even more important than before. To work from home is a concept businesses did not believe in and yet it works for people who have internet access.  Less hours on the highway, give us more hours to work or spend with the kids. Schooling had to move online which most people did not even know about and the longer it continues, the better it works. 

So many debates about how to move forward and who is to blame are also flooding the internet. IT CAN FEEL LIKE WE ARE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN BEING CONTROLLED AND THAT EVERYTHING IS OUT OF CONTROL.Politicians don’t know what to do and this causes uncertainty in their ranks. Feeding schemes are not managed properly as many other services in the past. The list is growing longer by the day and can become a psychological burden to anyone who keeps wondering what this all means and what the future will bring. 

However, the positive side to this situation is that it’s a great time to be reminded to take all these concerns to our God and Heavenly Father. He is the Creator of the universe. He is the Master of our destiny and has a plan that is meant to let us all grow towards him. Instead of being stuck in the middle of the list let’s leave all our concerns and worries at His feet and focus on His love and ask Him forgiveness for our and our countries’ disbelief and realizing that we are nothing without Him. Let’s thank Him that He is so worried about our souls that He has to release a sickness so we can get back on our knees. 

We need to ask Him to stop the pandemic but also to look at it as a blessing to make us all depend on Him again. God said we should pray without ceasing. He also has given us a spirit of joy and peace and self confidence in whatever situation we are in. We don’t need to be freaked out. 

So let’s pause and pray: “Thank you our God and Father that you are calling us to let go of all our fears and concerns. Thank you that you are with us and every hungry person and every health caretaker. Thank you that you are leading the battle against evil powers and that we know that your plan is magnificently perfect. Thank you that you will  keep our farmers safe and that you will guide our governments with your wisdom so they will make good decisions. Thank you for standing by us through every minute of every day and giving us a spirit of joy and confidence  in you.” LET GO LET GOD. ASSuRE ASTHE SUN SETS AND THE SUN RISES. HE IS IN CONTROL. -PRAISE BE TO YOU O LORD!
